Here’s an idea!
February is Heart Month and with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, what a perfect time to do something healthy for your love life and your heart!
Whether you’re already in a relationship and need to get out of a couch-potato rut, or you’re single and haven’t had much luck meeting that special someone – The Toronto Outdoor Club might be just the ticket.
The TOC provides its members with “fun experiences, the opportunity to network, and the ability to learn about and participate in local adventure sports.”
For example, you can go hiking, camping, backpacking, mountain biking, paddling, skiing, skating, and snow shoeing; or attend parties, socials, spectator sporting events, and comedy evenings; or take trips to various parts of Canada, the U.S., and beyond.
Here are some upcoming activities:
Wednesday, Feb 7: Indoor Rock Climbing
Friday, Feb 9 to Sunday, Feb 11: Snowshoeing & Backpacking Trip
Friday, Feb 9: Outdoor Waterfront DJ Skate
With 887 members, ranging in age from 20 to 60, not only will you get a great workout, you’re bound to make some new friends too!
So why not check them out?
To quote the Heart and Stroke Foundation: “Great things happen when you put your heart into it!”
