If you don’t mind spending some time outside, check out the Wild on Winter – WOW! Series at Nathan Phillips Square.
Enjoy free concerts; a performance by the Kitonb Extreme Theatre Company; and the “uniquely Canadian” Paintings Below Zero, “an installation of boldly coloured, abstract paintings in ice…The installation will cover 800 square feet, featuring an 80 foot wall of three dimensional ice paintings reaching heights of up to 10 feet.”
You can even become “part of the art” by skating on the surface of the paintings!

If you’re feeling a little cold from all that ice, then head indoors for the Warm Up Series with special events being held all over the GTA.

Hungry from all the fun? Then treat yourselves to some of the best food in town at Winterlicious.
Participating restaurants are offering prix fixe promotions throughout the festival. Visit one restaurant or sample several! The choice is yours.
